The importance of clouds in climate change

clouds

A recent study by experts studying climate change notes the really important role clouds play in this process and that negatively affects the entire planet.

Today clouds act as a large layer in the atmosphere that retain part of the solar heat causing a greater increase in temperatures, which negatively affects in the smooth running of the planet.

Before this interesting study, it was thought that the temperature rise caused by a high concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would be between two and four degrees. Now that the importance of clouds in the whole process of climate change is known, the temperature could go up to 5 degrees. It is a really important temperature difference and that could cause serious problems across the planet in the medium and long term.

According to experts, this fact could have devastating effects on the planet since sea level could rise disproportionately or that floods were produced in a habitual way in many areas of the Earth. The fundamental role of clouds in climate change is not something new that already it had been played in 2012 by a group of climate specialists.

In 2014, it was also ensured that average temperatures across the planet could rise to about 5 degrees due to the action of the clouds themselves. That is why from now on we will have to look much more at the sky and take into account the clouds to stop climate change and global warming. A really dramatic and worrying situation which must make the entire world population think seriously before it can be too late.
