Sandstorms in Dubai

Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, has become, thanks to its luxurious buildings, one of the main tourist destinations in the Middle East. However, despite the fact that it is a modern city whose architecture imitates that of the main western cities, we must not forget that it is located in the middle of the desert, so the sand storms they are something to count on.

City dwellers are used to it by now, but for first-time tourists to Dubai it can be quite uncomfortable. The images are really spectacular and one would say that after such sandstorm the city has been buried.

But nothing beyond reality, since, apart from a certain discomfort during the time that the storm lasts, this phenomenon does not represent any danger to the physical integrity of people. Of course, it is advisable to avoid staying on the street during the same unless you are wearing protective glasses, especially if it is of the highest intensity.
