These days we have enjoyed very pleasant and spring temperatures even in winter. This has been due to the existence of an anticyclone that made the winds and the cold go away in almost all of Spain.
Now, with the wind and the pressure drops, Days are coming when we will have colder, rains, and even snow again. How will the storm affect Spain?
Rainstorm that will last a few more days
These days pressures will continue to drop and this will affect the regime of winds and rains that in much of the peninsula will cause bad weather. With the drops in pressure, winds are usually accompanied by cold air masses that lower the thermometers.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), there will be changes in the Peninsula with the arrival of a cold air mass from higher latitudes. When the pressures fall, storms form and all this brings atmospheric instability. In this case, instability will spread across the Mediterranean and abundant rainfall and snow are announced, accompanied by strong gusts of wind.
The snow level will initially be about 800/1000 meters high and in the afternoon it will go up to 1.200 / 1.400 meters. The highest rainfall will take place in Valencia, the eastern end of Castilla La Mancha and Murcia.
For tomorrow Tuesday
For tomorrow, Tuesday, the rains will move to the southeast of the Peninsula in a more intense way and the snow levels will be above 1.200 / 1.500 meters. They will also have strong gusts of wind accompanied by precipitation.
As of Wednesday is when the storm will remain in the Gulf of Cádiz and it will become something more stable and weakened. It will cause some precipitation although weaker and may last until Friday.
