Climate Change

That's what a study published in the scientific journal Nature reveals: current climate change started 180 years ago, almost 80 before it was believed until now. Human beings have always adapted the environment in which we live to ourselves, but it was not until the year 1830 that the planet really began to suffer, that is, in the First Industrial Revolution.

Since then, greenhouse gases have accumulated in the atmosphere, and we have reached a point where the Earth's natural balance is breaking, if not already broken. Keep in mind that climate changes have always occurred, but now humans have the ability to worsen them.

Deforestation, the progressive intensification of livestock, as well as the use of fossil fuels are among the main causes of the increase in greenhouse gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide or CO2. But, How did researchers know that today's climate change started earlier than previously thought?

To know, collected indirect evidence of the planet's temperature from different objects in different locations, such as collecting samples of tree rings, coral remains, ice cores which are bars of frozen water that are extracted from glaciers, and other elements to know what the weather was on a specific date, as well as what concentration of carbon dioxide had.

Global warming

As a curiosity, Belén Martrat, scientist at the CSIC Institute for Environmental Diagnosis and Water Studies, »warming in the tropics started at roughly the same time as in the Arctic', Around the 30s of the 1815th century. Until that moment, the Earth had undergone a period of cooling due to volcanic eruptions, such as the Tambora in Indonesia in 1816 which caused that in XNUMX there was no summer.

It is not clear if the rise of the First Industrial Revolution and the end of the cooling period simply coincided with time or if the former caused the phenomenon, but the study authors believe that the increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases linked both events.

BUT MISTER TRUMP DOES NOT BELIEVE IN CLIMATE CHANGE WHICH DOES NOT EXIST.

      Hello Alejandro.
Climate changes have always been and always will be. The problem is that never before has there been a species like ours capable of destroying the environment in which it lives, so we cannot know for sure what will happen because we are the first to have such a great impact on the planet.
      A greeting.

This climate change did not start at the end of the little ice age? It is normal that after the cold comes the heat.
