Chemtrails, are you manipulating the weather?

In an increasingly crowded world, the incredible diversity of opinions, ideas, and theories that are created make it sometimes very difficult to discern the real from the imaginary. I myself must confess that on several occasions I have doubted science, but always, when I finish looking for truthful information, that is, after reading studies done by professionals, in the end I have ended up believing in it again.

And that is precisely what we sometimes do not do: look for information and contrast it. Today the Internet has made life much easier for us, but it has also complicated it in a certain way. It has allowed us to believe in curious theories, and one of them is that of Chemtrails. Are they modifying the climate to reduce the world population? Not at all. And I'm going to explain why.

Origin of the Chemtrails theory

The Chemtrails Theory or the Conspiracy Theory of the chemtrails supposedly left by airplanes was created by Richard Finke in 1997, who was the first to denounce the alleged existence of the stelae that were to end humanity. The term, however, did not become famous two years later, and it did so from the hand (rather, from the vocal cords) of the journalist William Thomas.

Despite everything, the defenders of this theory say that chemtrails began years before, which does not make much sense since, as we will see below, one of the goals of Chemtrails is to reduce the world population, and that's a growing number. In fact, right now we are close to reaching 7.500 billion as you can see in this website, and in 1997 there were 5.850 million inhabitants as explained by the newspaper El País in his day.

What are the supposed objectives of the Chemtrails?

Population reduction

One of the main objectives is, as we have said, the reduction of the world population. Why? I don't know, although I suspect maybe it's to have us better controlledWhich is incredible in the strict sense of the word, for the simple reason that it is technically impossible for a few people to control millions of human beings, even if they are powerfully rich.

Biological or chemical warfare

This is quite related to the previous one. Wars are always fought for some reason, either so that a country has a greater supply of oil, or because they want to get some kind of wealth. In any case, people always die, and most of the time they are innocent people. But for those who compete, people are just that, people, numbers.

A biological or chemical warfare would not only take the lives of thousands or millions of people, but it would also make things much easier for the leaders who do it.

Alter DNA

Perhaps to make the population easier to control. Comparisons are hateful, but some think that if all human beings behaved the same, we would be like a herd of animals: easy to manage, easy to manipulate.

Disease spread

There are many life-threatening diseasesLike anthrax for example, if the agents that cause them are inhaled - in this case, bacteria - that person's life is in serious danger of death.

Climate control

Either to mitigate the effects of climate change, or to cause them.

Is there evidence?

No. The time that contrails remain in the air should supposedly be less than that of chemostels, but the reality is that time depends on temperature, pressure and humidity. All trails can last for hours if conditions are favorable.

And what about the patterns that can be seen in the sky? Well, it is true that sometimes very curious patterns are seen in the sky, such as parallel or intersecting lines, which for conspiranoids is irrefutable proof that Chemtrails exist. But it doesn't make any sense. There are currently thousands of airplanes flying so the sky is never quite clear. A proof of this is this image:

If we take this into account, and that contrails can remain in the sky for a long time, the Chemtrails theory is not credible. Further, many times the contrails that we see in the sky are actually Cirrus clouds, which are developed at high altitudes (above 5km).

Other phenomena that could make us doubt

There are some phenomena that we produce in the sky or that have a direct effect on it that could make us doubt Chemtrails, such as the following:

• Silver iodide is scattered to generate released form clouds.
• It is fumigated from the sky to end the plagues, like mosquitoes in the Mediterranean, For example.
• Messages are written on the air as gifts or for any other reason.
• Space missiles and rockets can generate contrails.
• Substances are dispersed in the upper atmosphere in order to study it.

Has the weather ever been manipulated?

And finally, we get to what interests us. Weather manipulation. When you live in an area where it already rains little, and you see that it rains less and less, it is very easy to believe the theory of Chemtrails, and get angry when you see that the sky is cloudy now and in 10 minutes all the clouds have missing. But, Can you manipulate the weather? Has it ever been done?

The answer is yes, but not in the way we might imagine. In fact, what is intended is not to harm the population, but rather to prevent catastrophes. Cloud seeding is a technique that has been used in countries where drought is a very serious problem by spreading silver iodide in the sky., like China, India or the United States, but so far they have not obtained very positive results.

In the specific case of China, it is known that they fired rockets with silver iodide to end the drought that was affecting Beijing in 2009 in order to induce snowfall. And they succeeded: the Pekingese were able to enjoy three days of snowfall since 1987.

But yes, there are those who want to go further.

The Haarp Project

The HAARP project, or High Frequency Advanced Auroral Research Project, which translated into Spanish would be the High Frequency Active Aurora Research Program, is a project carried out by the United States Navy and Air Force to study the ionosphere. The ionosphere is a layer of the Earth that is located more than 48km from the planet and that reaches up to 350km in height.

What the scientists of the HAARP Project do is send radio frequency beams within the aforementioned layer, which travel great distances through the lower atmosphere and penetrate into the earth. By doing so, they can find underground tunnels or communicate with submerged submarines, among other applications.

But there is a small problem: around planet Earth there is a "floating" electricity called aureal electrojet. When energy is deposited in it, the current is changed and low frequency and very low frequency waves are generated, so HAARP is a project that is made in order to heat the ionosphere - which could be true since they have the means to do so - and thus manipulate the global climate with unpredictable consequences.

The SURA Project

SURA, or Ionospheric Heating Installation in Spanish, is an ionosphere research center which is located in the town of Vasilsursk, in Russia. It is capable of radiating about 190 MW effective radiated power (PRE) in short waves. It is currently a service operated by the NIRFI Radio Research Institute in Nizhny Novgorod.

Russian researchers They intend to study the ionosphere, and also what effects the generation of low frequency emission has on it. It is thus the Russian equivalent of the HAARP project.

Are there reasons to worry?

Yes. Quite a few, but not because of the Chemtrails, but because of the impact we are having on the environment. Pollution, deforestation, dumping of toxins in the seas and rivers, ... all this will end up taking its toll on us. Some think that we have already entered a new geological era, the anthropocene, during which humanity has broken the natural balance of the planet.

Trust me. In the world there are many things that must change, but you cannot change what does not exist.
