Summer could be hotter
This summer is quite hot. In many parts of the country, such as southern Andalusia, temperatures of 35-40 degrees Celsius have already been recorded. Yes, there are many who have already gone to the beach or the pool, but they will not be the only ones: according to the AEMET there is a 50% probability that normal values will be exceeded (taken from the reference period 1981 to 2010) in the Iberian Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands.
In the Canary archipelago the probabilities are somewhat lower, 45%.
No major changes in rainfall are expected
On the other hand, if we talk about rainfall, no significant changes are expected compared to other years. The wet, normal and dry scenarios have the same probabilities: 33%, so whether you expected it to rain more or if, on the contrary, you preferred it to do less, this year will be more or less the same as the previous ones.
Tips to spend the summer as well as possible
During this season, especially if you live in a very hot area, you can have several problems throughout the day: difficulty sleeping, mood swings due to excess heat, problems concentrating, among others. To avoid them, We offer you a series of tips that will help you spend a calmer season:
- Drink at least 2 liters of water. They will keep you hydrated and the cells of your body will be able to function properly. Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink.
