As we said recently in Meteorología en Red, Ahwad, Iran, registered a horrible 53,7ºC of temperature by a heat wave that led deh echo, to more than 50ºC in various places in the East. Among them Iraq and Kuwait. In The United States reached 47,2ºC in Las Vegas, 51,7ºC in Needles. The Phoenix airport had to cancel many flights, after registering 43ºC between the 17th and 27th of last month.

The heat wave that also hit the Iberian Peninsula, and that was moving through the southeast of Europe, caused more than 40ºC to be recorded in many countries.

It seems that the records will not cease, and that we continue in a warm period from which for now, we are not letting go. We will see how this whole summer that continues.
